Bond School [5 days]
In recent years, international bond markets have grown significantly in size and complexity as new derivative products continue to be introduced. As such, the skills needed to evaluate financing and investment opportunities in fixed income markets have evolved, and many new techniques must be considered. Synthetic (derivative) fixed income markets often dictate pricing in cash markets, a new phenomenon requiring a vastly different set of skills needed to assess opportunities and provide timely solutions. Equity Financing [3 days]
Equity Financing explores the markets, products and processes in which corporate clients raise equity capital. This course is designed for bankers and advisors working with clients who are considering both private and public equity financing. Special attention will be placed on local stock market regulation including recent developments. Topics include:

Securitization and ABS Markets [4 days course]
Securitization explores the procedures involved in developing and marketing a structured transaction, including collateral issues, rating agency criteria, securities placement, and deal economics. The training begins with a general overview of the securitization process and various types of financings. Next, we examine asset-backed securities transactions in depth. On Day 3 we take a look at the RMBS market including pass-throughs, ARMs, SMBS and CMOs. Finally, we will consider non-agency RMBS and the CMBS marketplace. We will use a mix of case studies, exercises and transactions covering Europe, US and global markets to explore recent trends in Securitization issuance, with a particular emphasis on EMEA markets.
Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) [4 days]
Mortgage-Backed Securities explores the procedures involved in developing and marketing a residential and commercial mortgage-related securities, including collateral issues, rating agency criteria, securities placement, and deal economics. The training begins with a general overview of the securitization process and mortgage-backed securities. We then examine the RMBS market including pass-throughs, ARMs, SMBS and CMOs and whole loans, including the subprime market. Finally, we explore the global market for commercial MBS, examining issuance trends, collateral, structures and analytical techniques. We will use a mix of case studies, exercises and transactions covering Europe, US and global markets to explore recent trends in MBS issuance.
